Algorithms designed for limited memory, limited bandwidth, low energy and predictable execution.
Research
Zetako Research Lab.
Zetako is a deep tech laboratory focused on data movement, compression, verification and sovereign infrastructure.
Our work begins where systems hit hard limits: bandwidth, memory, latency, energy, hardware capacity, protocol constraints and operational trust.
From constrained microcontrollers and LoRaWAN payloads to blockchain validators, industrial imagery, cold storage workflows and private communication infrastructure, Zetako explores how data can become lighter, more verifiable and more controllable without losing fidelity.
Origin
From laboratory research to deployable technologies.
Zetako started as a research-driven laboratory, not as a generic software company. The early focus was compression: how to reduce data size while preserving exact recovery and making algorithms practical inside constrained environments.
Over time, that research expanded into a broader question: how can organizations move, store and communicate data with more control?
That question now informs Zetako's product lines: ZNano for constrained payload compression, ZCaps for proprietary lossless compression primitives, ZChain for blockchain infrastructure, and ZNode for sovereign workspace infrastructure.
- Compression under constrained hardware.
- Bandwidth reduction and payload shaping.
- Verification and exact recovery.
- Sovereign infrastructure and controlled communication.
Research thesis
Data movement is an infrastructure problem.
Every system moves data. But not every system has unlimited bandwidth, memory, energy, latency budget or trust in external infrastructure.
Zetako researches technologies for the places where these limits become real: embedded devices, remote networks, maritime systems, industrial sites, blockchain validators, private workspaces and cold infrastructure.
The goal is not only to compress data. The goal is to make data movement more efficient, more verifiable and more sovereign.
Research question
How can data move through constrained systems without losing integrity, control or sovereignty?
Core research domains
Where Zetako focuses.
The research stack combines compression, recovery, structured data handling and private infrastructure design.
Lossless systems where decoded output must match the original input exactly.
Telemetry, logs, metadata, blockchain payloads, industrial records and repeated protocol fields.
Research into retrieving only the necessary part of a compressed or structured dataset without expanding everything.
Limiting unnecessary requests, transfers and reads in cold servers, archives and offline storage systems.
Private tools for messaging, meetings, files, users, auditability and controlled collaboration.
Applied research tracks
Research shaped by real operational constraints.
Zetako's work has moved across multiple applied research tracks, always around the same question: how can data move with less overhead and more control?
Product translation
From research to product lines.
Zetako's research does not stay theoretical. It becomes product lines.
ZNano
Payload-level compression for constrained devices, IoT telemetry, metering and edge systems.
Open ZNanoZCaps
A proprietary 100% lossless compression primitive built around symmetric bit-by-bit workflows and inspectable envelopes.
Open ZCapsZChain
Lossless compression for structured blockchain infrastructure, including validator, RPC and archival payloads.
Open ZChainZNode
A private communication node for messaging, meetings, files, clients, governance and auditability under organizational control.
Open ZNodeCollaboration model
Built with real constraints.
Zetako's research has been shaped by practical collaborations, partner discussions and applied experiments across infrastructure, IoT, industrial data, blockchain, communications and constrained environments.
We work best when the problem is specific: a limited device, a costly link, a repeated payload, a protocol constraint, a cold archive, a validator pipeline, a private communication need, or a workflow that cannot depend entirely on external platforms.
Applied R&D mode
Specific constraints create better technology decisions than abstract product categories.
Research challenges
The challenges we look for.
Zetako is always looking for technical challenges where standard infrastructure becomes too heavy, too expensive or too dependent on external platforms.
Bandwidth is expensive or unreliable.
Hardware capacity is limited.
Memory allocation must be predictable.
Latency budgets are strict.
Data must remain recoverable and verifiable.
Infrastructure ownership matters.
Cloud dependency creates operational risk.
Communication workflows require control and auditability.
Research challenge
Bring Zetako a hard data movement problem.
If your system is limited by bandwidth, hardware capacity, latency, storage, protocol constraints or infrastructure control, Zetako can explore whether a dedicated technology layer makes sense.
