Self-hosted does not mean every user runs a server

A self-hosted collaboration platform runs in an environment chosen and controlled by the organization, rather than exclusively inside a vendor-managed SaaS service. Infrastructure specialists or a delegated operator maintain the deployment. Employees and clients should still experience familiar messaging, meetings and file collaboration.
